Chapter 10
January 2026

Chuck looked at Sam. "I love you and I want to be with you, but it's too much."

She looked at Chuck. "I'm not going to beg you to stay, but don't you want to watch your kids grow up?"

He stared at the babies, Well Bella wasn't a baby anymore. He looked once more at his family, and left. Bella looked at her babies. "Bella, Atta, we have to have breakfast."

Bella looked at her mother, "Daddy's not coming back is he?"


Sam was shaking her head, "Probably not."

Atta commanded the box of cereal to come his way, and Sam watched her children help her with breakfast. "Daddy hurt you didn't he mom?"

"I never wanted him to leave us, but it was his choice."

Atta shook his head. He wanted a simple life but that was not what he was destined for.

He looked at his sister. She was hurt by their father leaving aas well: But they both knew Chuck wasn't their real "biological father".

The man who was their father was the man that was called 'THE RAPIST OF RUSHMORE'

The children did not think they should know this stuff, but they did.

This rapist had taken her twice, and produced two babies. She recognized the man.

He was the man who had inadvertantly fathered both of her children. If she had the choice she would have been able to vhoose Bella and Atta's father; but it was a failure of her inability to choose a suitable man.

Chuck had been a mistake.

She had thought she loved him, but in the end it had cost her the only father figure her children had ever known.

She pulled both her children close. "I am so sorry."

She paused. "T never meant for it to be this way. She felt the tears fall down her cheeks. The children looked at her daughter. Bella and Atta touched fingers, and there was a spark.

The kids looked at each other and there was a scream.

Two days later Sam stared at the information displayed on the computer.

Sam had to tell her kids.

There was an accident and their father was never coming home. There had been an accident and Chuck had lost his life because of it.

It had been a freak accident. Chuck had been walking along the streets of New York city when a plane flying overhead had dropped a portion of shuttle fuel. It had hit him, and the fuel had ignited killing Chuck on contact.

Sam looked at her children who seemed rather excited by the news.

"He was never our real father."

Atta looked at his mother, "All he was, was a man you mistakenly fell in love with."

Sam looked at her kids, "How can you say that? He was your father."

Atta's eyes turned red. "How can you say that? He helped raise you."

Bella stared at her mother and rolled her eyes.

"You need to check our parentage"


> "It is not who you think it is. There is a reason that rapist targeted you twice."

"He wanted the response it produced."

"There needed to be kids produced and they are the next Egyptian royalty."
