The Original Moment

Chapter 1

She remembered...

The days of growing up when she had been nothing but a small child who had nothing to live for, and no one to be.

Then she had begun growing up.

Her teenage years did nothing to help her pride and prejudice.

When others looked at her lank frame, a frame that had begun the puberty growth spurts.

She hit five foot six and her mother worried.

Despite what her daughter thought, she did know who Samantha's father was.

The black hi

nt in her otherwise pale complexion, gave it away.

It told her of the African background in her blood.

Sam's athleticism, had shown up in her early years in high school.

Her long legs and tall stature made basketball a natural sport for her to be interestedn.

By tenth grade, the modelling scouts had made their offers.

Milan and New York were calling.

She needed to make a decision.

Her life was calling.

Her love was calling as well.

Her boyfriend was calling her yet again. Chuck looked at her. "You do this Sam, and we're done."

She bowed her head and felt the tears building behind her eyelids. He was giving her an ultimatum. "That's not fair Chuck."

She looked at him.

"Chuck this could be my beginning."

He pleaded with her. "And our end."

"You can't ask me to make this type of decision, and not regret something."

He sighed, and stared at her. "I didn't realize it was such a hard, grueling decision for you."

So she glared at him, trying to make him understand.

This isn’t only about us.

She watched as he tore her shirt off her lithe frame.

“What are you doing?" She stared at him through dark frightned eyes. "You know I’m a virgin and I’ve never done this before…”

He stared into her beautiful chocolate brown eyes, so much the opposite of his own baby blues.

His lips began sucking on her tender nipples, trying to make her see that sex wasn’t evil, or something to be scaared of.

She sucked in a scared breath.

He ran his hands over her breasts and down the long, flat expanse of her stomach.

She pushed his hands away. “I’m not on the pill Chuck. Being a virgin there was never a need to be.”

“Maybe your first time will leave you with a reminder.”

She tried to slap his hands away, but he was being too persistant.

She felt his slick member push itself between her tender folds.

She cried out, not in pleasure, but at the loss of virginal innocence that was being forced upon her.

"Chuck I have loved you for years. I never wanted for us to begin, or end like this."

"I always pictured myself losing my virginity to the one I loved; but I never pictured it being like this – being forced upon me.”

She needed it back.

The tears stopped and Chuck thought that for a moment she was enjoying herself.

Then he looked Into her tear-stained eyes, and lost all control, this was her first time and he had turned it, from a time of love and discovery, to a time of hurt and pain.

Two hours later, the deed was done.

Sam pushed him away.

Pulled up her pants, and left the tree house.

She fled from his house and the tree house, that the two of them had innocently climbed as children: devoid of hate and lust, and caught in the joy and the wonder of discovery.

Her life of wonder and discovery had turned into a moment of hate and revulsion.

And she wondered if she could ever get it back, she needed it back.

She needed their innocence back.

The moment had been tainted: the bridge had been crossed... never to be uncrossed.

She let the tears fall for the life that had been changed, and the moment that had been forever lost.

She would never get that moment back. And for that she was sad, and upset indeed.

She didn’t want to blame him, but she felt she had no choice.

Whether she wanted to admit it or not - it was rape plain and simple.

And he had taken something from her... something she would never get back.

And for that she was so sad.

A moment she would have gladly given to Chuck, but it had been soiled, and had happened incorrectly.

And because he had taken it against her will, the moment was forever lost.

And the love was forever soiled.
