The Original Moment
Chapter 4
The Original Moment
by: Francesca Reid
She was brought back home from the hospital.
The doctor had stopped the labour pains and had made sure she still had enough water to keep the pregnancy viable.
After two hours the doctor decided she could go home in the morning.
She got home and began her story on Tackenbury.
So now she knew the backstory.
Her mom was bored and her dad was not creative. And that's how she came to be.
She went to her room and discovered that her imaginary world had been read, and taken from her mother's house.
Her mother had promised to help with her writing and her mother would be the only reason she would come back to that house.
She needed her make-believe world back.
The imaginary world would, and did truly exist in her mind.
In her mind the imaginary world was a real world.
And in this imagination could exist, and did exist.
What made her renounced was the world she had created and the people who lived there.
It was a planet much like Earth where the people of Tackenbury were her 'Narnia'.
This was her world complete where she was the Queen and Chuck was her unknowing and unlikely King.
er world she was the ruler, along with Chuck her lovely 'King'. In Tackenbury there were no kings and queens though, there was the Bankok, who in Tackenbury was the king and the Bankler who was his female ruling counterpart.
Together they make the 'Bankwoo' which is the ruling couple.
The couple which is needed to run Tackenbury.
She went to Chuck and asked what his thoughts were.
He hugged her and informed her that her mother wanted to do away with her creation at her father's demand. Tackenbury was not a real world, and therefore did not deserve to exist.
Chuck was sad for the creativity and the wonder that had been forced to disappear.
Her belly grew with her second child and the hope that Tackenbury would indeed exist.
In her mind it did exist and she would continue the trials and tribulations of that world.
The world had evolved very much like Earth.
She needed the ruling powers to evolve together.
She wanted Chuck to take the stage with her.
They were the ruleras of Tackenbury and they had to make it work.
She put her hand on her baby belly and felt the baby move and felt their happiness at the loving of the rulers of Tackenbury.
[FIVE YEARS LATER]
It had been five years, Bella had grown into a rambunctious little child. She was a smart, perfect little kid, (But all parents thought that of their kids.)
She always outdid her mother's askances of her.
At four years old she was speaking in perfect English.
The couple had decided to leave Bella as an only child.
Sam knew the signs though, she hadn't had an aversion to fish since she had been pregnant with Bella.
Sam watched Bella playing with the cabbage patch doll, that she had gifted to her for her birthday.
Bella was startng to get the baby's diaper changed, and ready for her to say hi to 'Snipp'y, since she was coming home after her walk with Chuck.
The dog had grown into a pretty German Sheppherd, and ahe loved her so.
She just had to wait for Chuck to get home so she could share her suspitions with him.
She had to tell someone of her ideas. If she was correct Bella would have a sibling.
Chuck came home from his walk with Snippy.
"Chuck we have to talk."
They were ignoring Bella, and she did not like that.
Bella didn't get mad very often but she really wanted their attention. She stamped her feet on the ground and lifted her hand up.
The book that Chuck had just put on the table lifted and slammed back on the table.
Sam looked at Bella who was making a disgruntled noise and stamping her foot.
"Bella honey, you have to wait for your turn to speak."
She stared at her daughter: "Did you just lift that book?"
Bella shook her head and stamped her foot on the ground.
"Now."
This was sucvvh a difference in Bella's behavior that her parents were at a loss for what to do.
She picked Bella up and put her on the couch.
She stared at Chuck trying to figure out what they would do.
"Isabella honey, it's time for bed."
Her father took her and put her down, for hopefully a good night's sleep.
He walked away but didn't see as the book levetated and flew above her bed.
Sam walked out of Bella's room and went to see Chuck.
Chuck looked at her hoping Bella would stop acting oddly.
"Bella honey you have to just be okay with being with us."
Sam stared at her daughter.
"Bella honey, you have to stop acting up."
Bella looked at her mother and stomped her feet, and lifted her hand up.
The book that Sam had in her hand dropped to the ground as Bella stomped her feet.
Sam stared at her daughter. "You have to calm down Bella, there isn't anything wrong."
Bella pouted. "No one is listening to anything I have to say."
"We're listening and hearing you, we are just not going to do everything you say."
Bella pouted and stomped her feet at which point the book she was staring at caught fire.
Sam looked at Bella's dad and shrugged her shoulders.
They walked into the kitchen together after Bella calmed down, the book stopped burning, and Bella finally fe
ll asleep.
"Sam there is something wrong with Bella."
"She was born under the double moons of Tackenberry."
Chuck looked at Sam. "That's not real, you know that."
"Bella is a child of the two moons, to her it means something, and is real."
This was such a difference in Bella's behavior that her parents were at a loss for what to do.
She picked Bella up and put her on the couch.
She stared at Chuck trying to figure out what they would do next with her.
"Bella honey, it's bed time."
Her father took her and put her down, for hopefully a good night's sleep.
He walked away, but didn't see as the book levetated and flew above her bed.
Sam walked out of Bella's room and went to see Chuck.
Chuck looked at her hoping Bella would stop acting oddly.
Sam stared at her daughter.
"Bella honey, you have to stop acting up."
Bella looked at her mother and stomped her feet and lifted her hand up.
The book that Sam had in her hand dropped to the ground as Bella stomped her feet.
"Bella honey did you do that?"
Bella nodded her head. "I don't want to go to bed mom."
Sam sighed. "It's not an option dear. You need your sleep."
Chuck put her to bed and came back to sit on the couch with Sam. "Did you see what Bella did when she got angry?"
Sam nodded and shared her explanation of what she had read up on, on Egyptian parentage.
That's probably where the background came from.
Sam wondered where Bella's background came from.
She wondered where the man came from, and where he had come from.
She remembered she had been hoping against hopes that the baby was indeed Chuck's.
He had taken her against her will too, but it was a taking that even though it was against her will, it was still an exceptable thing.
They were a couple and they were in love.
He had to think that made it okay and Bella was the product of that love`.
Bella was acting weird lately and he knew that Sam wanted to talk to him about it, but what?
That night they were leaving Bella with Sam's mother and going to the coffee shop for a talk.
Chuck wondered about what? But he would know soon enough.
Two hours later Chuck and Sam met in the coffee shop to speak.
There was something about Bella and the powers she had been exhibiting.
They sat down in a booth table. Chuck was sitting beside her.
She grabbed Chuck's hand and placed it on her belly.
"I am so sorry Chuck. I never meant for this to happen."
Chuck drew in a deep breath. "We are having enough trouble with Bella, do we really want to start again?"
"You know that I don't believe in abortion, so what are we going to do?"
Chuck stared at her incredulous. "I guess we're going to give Bella a brother or sister."
Chuck put his hands on Sam's belly.
"Bella is exibiting odd powers. What are we going to do with her?"
"I have been reading up on some of the special powers Egyptian Pharaoh's put out there, and Bella has been showing some similar stances."
"I am not willing to just give up on her."
"If you look into my backstory there is Egyptian blood there."
Chuck stared at Sam and realized his hand was still on her belly, and it was getting warm.
He looked at Sam. We're having enough trouble with Bella, What are we going to do with another one?"
He rubbed her belly. "We're going to love them and make them feel loved too."
She pulled out the toy that Bella had decided was her havourite right now.
It was a block that had an Egyptian hyrogliphic on it.
Chuck and Sam took the baby and put her to bed following they went to bed as well.
